compare:
[link] and
[link]so apparently they have taken my photo. (which is nice basically

)
however they seem to give a shit about copyright. my photo is licensed under the
creative commons -attribution license.
if you don't know the details, and are too lazy to read the link, here is what the cc license says:
- you may copy, alter and redistribute the work
- you
must give credits to the original author, and
- you
must mention that the subject is licensed under cc.
well, the last to points are not fulfilled. but what makes me really angry is that they write:
"
© für die Fotos: Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Marketing GmbH"
even if 90% of the photos where © by Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Marketing GmbH, they can't ignore my work. (and its even the headline image..) and the other thing is that they probably haven't the permission of the mentioned copyright holder either.
and further they claim:
"
Schneemenschen GmbH."
translated freely:
"the owner of this pdf file is the Schneemenschen GmbH. the reader/user is not allowed to edit, copy, redistribute, perform in public or use in any other form, at least not with written permission of the Schneemenschen GmbH."so they reversed the conditions of the creative commons, and to be exactly they even do not allow you to use (eg. read) that document....
so i'll probably go a lit posing with this pdf (look, they have used my work!) and then write a nice letter to them.
